“…It was like the photo negative of what happened to the character Gabe. Right? Like Gabe is like this- Unfortunate creepy guy shows up and is immediately and utterly ostracized. It was like, yeah, it was the exact opposite where I was like, Oh my God, look at this. Like, this group of people is just like, so envelopingly sweet. So that was life changing because I was already so fragile and terrified because it was such a new experience, and I wanted so desperately to do a good job. And to be met with that kind of generosity of spirit was, I think, formative for me.”
