A friend of mine said to me, I was like, talking about some maybe New York or something, and she goes, Well, places aren’t places as much as they’re times. Like when you think of a place, often you’re thinking of a time. And so it’s not necessarily the geography of the place, but it’s the sort of psychic place you were in in your life, right? Like where—what was happening or who you were at that time. And so it’s so interesting that it’s this show where you’re being somebody different, like you’re playing a different person, but also you were a different person in your life at that time, right? Like the circumstances of your life were different. Your relationships were different. Everything was different.
